Burgundy hat

I really love the electric blue hat I made this summer. I like the shape.  So now I have made one in burgundy too.



I put padding in it so that it will look better on.



I only had grey fabric to cover tihe padding. Just stiched on.

Faux fur hat - cossack - in new colour

For those freezing cold days in winter, and you want to look good. This might be my new favorite hat.

Last winter I made two x-large cossac hats in faux fur (check out earlier posts and the page named Winter hats) I really like them, and I thought I would make one in white too.



 

 

I like to decorate the hat with a broache.

I could not help myself - I just had to make some tiny hats for my nieces Barbie doll. After I made them I understod that I had to make the rest of the outfit too. So here is some of the result.

My own fashion report

For several years now I have made my own fashion reports. I started cutting out pictures from fashion magazines, both norwegian and international magazines. Finally I found a way I could use all these fabulous magazines wich I love so much (and that I use so much money on, hrm..).

When new season comes I collect the stuff I like, want to by or make from the magazines. I usually wait until season is over to make sure I have got all the photos I want, then I glue them in the scrap-book. By doing this it is easier to plan what I want to buy and what I want to look for in the shops. I get tons of inspiration making my own accessories like hats, redesigning, planning outfits. And it is nice and organized too!!!

I have had much fun doing this, but now I also have found another way of getting inspiration; Pinterest.

Crocheted hat - multicolour

This is an easymake crocheted hat in bright colours. When I finished crocheting the hat I stiched on the navy-blue and green.

Using new season hats

Just wanted to show you how I wear (one of) the new hats. This is the boater I made earlier this summer, as posted in june:  Black boater. It is a DIY hat from Chanels RTW 2013-2014.
