Crochet collar DIY - Marc Jacobs Fall 2016

I am still at these wonderful crochet collars that you can see in Marc Jacobs RTW Fall 2016 collection. They are easy and fun to make. The patterns I make as I crochet.

Crochet headband

Making a crochet headband is really easy. You can make them in any colour and decorate them with pearls, flowers etc if you wish.

Knitting jumpers

Everybody is knitting jumpers these days. And so have I. The jumper is inspired by Miu Miu RTW Fall 2015. I am quiet satisfied that I actually managed to finish it - I never use patterns.

Unfortunatly I don't have the knitting skills to make the holes that the "original" Miu Miu jumper has. But I am quiet satisfied anyway.

Crochet collars

Marc Jacobs showed some wonderful crochet collars in the Fall RTW 2016 collection. I have made an easy one. I found the pattern on Drops Design, www.garnstudio.com. It is a red collar for young girl. As it is a pattern for a childs collar, I added about 50 extra ch. It was really easy and good fun.

Crochet boater

Chanel RTW Fall 2016 has some fabulous hats. I have made my version of them. Since I havn't got my hands on any faux leather to cover the straw boaters, I had to crochet instead.

I bought a straw boater from HM, 

I removed the black band and added some filling instead.

I crocheted the cover, and put on a leather band.

I added the handle (to carry the hat)

the handle I made from a broach and the handle from a make-up bag.

Usually I crochet covers so that you won't see any of the straw-boater. But this time I didn't.

The yellow part is actually fabric as I didn't have any yellow paper.

Earclips from the 80's :-)
Going through old jewellery I found some really great earclips, in gold and black. So I used one for this parcel.

Paper bags 
I love these paper bags you can decorate with whatever you want. You get them in all different sizes.

Cut-out
Go on  - enjoy yourself cutting out different shapes, pictures etc and stick them on the parcels.
I bet you will enjoy it.

Advanced cut-outs 

If your REALLY love paper cut-outs - why not make collages . Cut out different themes, colours and so on. Write personal messages and glue them on.
